9:09 AM – Gloria lies; claims no mold again
Gloria sends an email stating that an “air clearance” performed on 9/17 has come back clean. Official results and certifications are not sent, so we can’t be sure she’s telling the truth about any “air clearance” being performed.
If a mold test was actually performed, then presumably the air was tested underneath the living room ceiling after it had been patched up without mold remediation. Ameriflood Environmental’s mold test still confirms toxic mold is living inside the unit underneath the haphazardly patched-up area on the living room ceiling. A hole is still torn out of the bathroom vanity exposing the toxic mold.
She claims repairs are still ongoing but there’s been no evidence of any work performed in the unit since Friday 9/17.

6-email-mold-response-tue-sept-2110:27 AM – Jimmy calls angry
Jimmy Ordaz calls to angrily deny our request to remove our belongings before more work is performed. Stresses that he has bosses to answer to. Promises invasive mold test be done right away (which is never performed) and that our belongings would be professionally cleaned (they are never cleaned by Coastline).
10:27 AM – Gloria responds via email simultaneously
She also promises professional cleaning of the apartment which is never performed. We are forced to throw away the majority of what’s in the unit.
7-email-tue-sept-2112:15 PM – Veronica enters unit to find worker
Veronica enters the unit to retrieve scrubs for her ICU shift that night to find a single unbranded worker taping up plastic sheeting over the stairs. Jimmy Ordaz stated that an invasive mold test was to be done before any other work and it takes at least 24 hours for mold results to come back, so Veronica did not expect to see someone on the stairs. The worker leaves after an interaction with a clearly frustrated and confused Veronica.
Mold remediation requires a zero-pressure containment area. Simply taping sheets over the stairs will not prevent the proliferation of mold.
12:28 PM – Gloria and Jimmy angrily call Veronica
Jimmy Ordaz calls Veronica via Gloria Camou’s phone number to state that we were aware of the work being performed inside the unit and had no right to stop it. But Jimmy promised the first order of business was an invasive mold test which would then dictate the direction of the work. The angry call causes Veronica to be visibly upset. She consents to allow the work to continue causing a 13-minute delay.
12:38 PM – Jimmy sends angry email
Jimmy Ordaz sends an angry email stating that he shouldn’t have to cover costs associated with any delays. The delay was 13 minutes long for work that would not prevent the proliferation of mold.
Jimmy also claims that “Your wife kicked out our crew.” The video shows one man, not a crew.
8-email-angry-jimmy-response-tue-sept-214:13 PM – Chris responds via email
9-chris-response-tue-sept-214:15 PM – No further work done
Enter the unit to see that plastic sheeting had been taped in the upstairs bathroom. The sheeting does not cover the entryway to our bedroom putting our belongings at risk.
We didn’t know it at the time, but this is not a zero-pressure containment area. These plastic sheets will not prevent the proliferation of mold during the removal of the vanity.
4:49 PM – Veronica’s meltdown
Chris secretly takes a video of a stressed-out Veronica during her seventh month of pregnancy.
4:58 PM – Warning
Upset after witnessing Veronica’s meltdown, Chris sends an email warning Coastline never to contact Veronica again.
